Qualcomm Introduces Second-Generation Secondary 5G Modem Snapdragon X55

Add Comment
The first 5G smartphones are about to become a reality - at least a few devices will be presented at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Qualcomm, for its part, does not sit with folded arms and further develops 5G technology.

Today, the chip maker announced the second generation of its 5G modem - Snapdragon X55. Thus, even before smartphones with the first generation of modem went on sale, the company had already introduced the second generation. However, the production of smartphones with Snapdragon X55 will take at least a few more months. But now let's see what improvements the Snapdragon X55 brings.
First, download speed. With the Snapdragon X50 (previous model), Qualcomm was able to achieve peak download speeds of around 4.5 Gbps. With the X55, the company increased this figure to 7 Gbps. Of course, these speeds will be far from what the 5G networks initially offer, but this shows that the potential of 5G is constantly growing.

Now, if you don’t care about 5G, you’ll be happy to hear that the new chip, like its predecessor, combines 4G and even a 3G connection, and brings improvements for them. In particular, with regard to 4G LTE, Snapdragon X55 will support LTE Cat.22, which offers download speeds up to 2.5 Gbps.

The speed of 7 Gb / s is much more than the average mobile user needs, but the X55 is not just for smartphones. The modem will deliver 5G to all kinds of devices, from wireless routers to laptops, tablets and even “augmented reality devices”, as Qualcomm calls them (mostly VR headsets), which are known to require very high bandwidth.

Qualcomm, along with Snapdragon X55, is launching a new 5W mmWave antenna module and more advanced antenna modem solutions. They are designed not only to complement the capabilities of the new modem, but also to increase energy efficiency, promising improved battery life. It is expected that the first 5G Qualcomm modem will be quite energy-intensive and deliberately difficult to cool, so the new advances in this area are certainly good news.

CORSAIR ONE I160 GAMING PC SMALL, POWERFUL, Specs Price Features

Add Comment
The sheer performance of today's leading components is incredible, but what's arguably more impressive is how modern CPUs and GPUs can deliver such thrills in tiny packages that are far more efficient than previous generations. An obvious upside to that trend is that today's phones, laptops and desktops can be smaller yet more powerful than what came before
CORSAIR ONE I160 GAMING PC
Internally, the One is built around a custom liquid cooling system with independent coolers and radiators for the CPU and GPU that will activate as necessary. This allows Corsair to cram truly high-end components into such a small case and still maintain acceptable working temperatures, but it’s also the reason why upgrading the CPU and GPU is so difficult.

Corsair One i160 specs
Processor: Intel Core i9-9900K
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
Memory: 32GB DDR4-2666
Storage: 480GB M.2 NVMe SSD, 2TB 5400RPM 2.5”HDD
Motherboard: MSI Z370 Mini-ITX
PSU: Corsair SF600, 80 Plus Gold
MSRP: $3,599.99
The only significant external difference between the first-generation One and the new model is the movement of the ports on the front of the computer from the top to the bottom. Here, you’ll find easy-access HDMI and USB-A ports for hooking up a VR rig, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. Inside the case, though, Corsair has done a total overhaul, and it claims to have greatly reduced operating temperatures, which my tranquil testing experience confirms.

The main use for the One is gaming, and the experience is exactly as you might expect from a Core i9 paired with an RTX 2080 Ti: amazing. There’s nothing I can really throw at the machine that will cause it to stumble. Games like Star Wars Battlefront II, Battlefield V, and Forza Horizon 4 run well over 60 frames per second at 4K resolutions and ultra settings. Drop down to 1440p, and you’ll be able to hit 100 fps or more in virtually any game; 1080p gaming is child’s play for the One. Even the new Anthem beta is playable at 4K in its current state. (I assume the final version of the game will be smoother still.)
Outside of hardware, we're not surprised to find that MSI is continuing to load its systems with superfluous software, however offenders such as PowerDirector and Norton Security are easily removed. All things considered, the lofty price tag is ultimately our primary concern, but let's run through the benchmarks before passing judgement.

Android 9 Pie Top Featured You Definitely Don't Know

Add Comment
Today we are going to talk about Android 9 Pie Google's big keywords this year is AI well-being and simplicity we'll see that and a lot more an Android Pie. Android 9 Pie core UI experience remains unchanged from previous versions of Android 8.0 Oreo.  The home screen settings notifications quick settings and app drawer are still in their usual spots they look more or less the same with some minor tweaks like more rounded UI elements
Android 9 harnesses the power of machine learning to make your phone smarter, simpler, and tailored to you. Read all about the new consumer features here. For developers, Android 9 includes many new ways to enhance your apps and build new experiences to drive engagement.

What's New in Android 9?

A smarter smartphone, with machine learning at the core
Android 9 helps your phone learn as you use it, by picking up on your preferences and adjusting automatically. Everything from helping users get the most out of their battery life to surfacing the best parts of the apps they use all the time, right when they need it most, Android 9 keeps things running smoother, longer.

Adaptive Battery

We partnered with DeepMind on a feature called Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps the user cares about most. If your app is optimized for Doze, App Standby, and Background Limits, Adaptive Battery should work well for you right out of the box. If you haven't yet taken optimized your app, make sure to check out the details in the power documentation to see how it works.

Slices in Android 9 Pie

Slices can help users perform tasks faster by enabling engagement outside of the fullscreen app experience. It does this by using UI templates that can display rich, dynamic, and interactive content from your app from within the Google Search app and later in other places like the Google Assistant. You can learn more about building Slices to enhance your app here.

What Are Apps Actions in Android Pie?

App Actions is a new way to raise the visibility of your app and drive engagement. Actions take advantage of machine learning to surface your app to the user at just the right time, based on your app's semantic intents and the user's context.

Text Classifier and Smart Linkify

We've extended the ML models that identify entities in content or text input to support more types like Dates and Flight Numbers through the TextClassifier API. Smart Linkify lets you take advantage of the text classifier models through the Linkify API, including enriched options for quick follow-on user actions. Smart Linkify also delivers significant improvements in the accuracy of detection as well as performance.

New system navigation

Android 9 introduces new system navigation that we've been working on for more than a year. The new design helps make Android's multitasking more approachable and makes discovering apps much easier. You can swipe up from anywhere to see full-screen previews of recently used apps and simply tap to jump back into one of them.

Display cutout

Now your app can take full advantage of the latest edge-to-edge screens through display cutout support in Android 9. For most apps, supporting display cutout is seamless, with the system managing status bar height to separate your content from the cutout. If you have immersive content, you can use the display cutout APIs to check the position and shape of the cutout and request full-screen layout around it. To help with development and testing, we've added a Developer Option that simulates several cutout shapes on any device.

New Notifications Bar and smart reply

Android 9 makes notifications even more useful and more actionable. Messaging apps can take advantage of the messaging style  APIs to show conversations, attach photos and stickers, and even suggest smart replies. You'll soon be able to use ML Kit to generate smart reply suggestions for your app.

Text Magnifier

In Android 9 we've added a Magnifier widget to improve the user experience of selecting text. The Magnifier widget lets users precisely position the cursor or the text selection handles by viewing zoomed text through a draggable panel. You can attach it to any view that is attached to a window so you can use it in custom widgets or during custom text-rendering. The Magnifier widget can also provide a zoomed-in version of any view or surface, not just text.

Biometric prompt

Android 9 introduces a system-managed dialog to prompt the user for any supported type of biometric authentication. Apps no longer need to build their own dialog--instead, they use the BiometricPrompt API to show the standard system dialog. In addition to Fingerprint (including in-display sensors), the API supports Face and Iris authentication.

Connectivity and location Wi-Fi RTT for indoor positioning

Android 9 lets you build indoor positioning features into your apps through platform support for the IEEE 802.11mc Wi-Fi protocol -- also known as Wi-Fi Round-Trip-Time (RTT). On Android 9 devices with hardware support, location permission, and location enabled, your apps can use RTT APIs to measure the distance to nearby Wi-Fi Access Points (APs). The device doesn't need to connect to the APs to use RTT, and to maintain privacy, only the phone is able to determine the distance, not the APs.

Knowing the distance to 3 or more APs, you can calculate the device position with an accuracy of 1 to 2 meters. With this accuracy you can support use-cases like in-building navigation; fine-grained location-based services such as disambiguated voice control (e.g. 'Turn on this light'); and location-based information (e.g. 'Are there special offers for this product?').

Facebook Plans to Integrate WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger

Zuckerberg plans to integrate its messaging services on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. According to Latest News Facebook going to integrate WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

What's more, it may make it less demanding for Facebook to share information over the three stages, to help its focused on promoting endeavors.

Be that as it may, even greater: it makes Facebook's suite of applications an a lot more tightly, entwined gathering of administrations. That could make the key parts of Facebook's realm progressively hard to separate and turn off if governments and controllers conclude that is fundamental.

Shared data

Mr. Zuckerberg is reportedly pushing the integration plan to make its trinity of services more useful and increase the amount of time people spend on them.

By effectively joining all its users into one massive group Facebook could compete more effectively with Google's messaging services and Apple's iMessage, suggested Makena Kelly on tech news site The Verge.

"We want to build the best messaging experiences we can; and people want to message to be fast, simple, reliable and private," said Facebook in a statement.

"We're working on making more of our messaging products end-to-end encrypted and considering ways to make it easier to reach friends and family across networks," it added.

The statement said there was a lot of "discussion and debate" about how the system would eventually work.

Linking the three systems marks a significant change at Facebook as before now it has let Instagram and WhatsApp operate as largely independent companies.

The NYT claimed that Mr. Zuckerberg's championing of the plan to connect the messaging system had caused "internal strife". It was part of the reason that the founders of both Instagram and WhatsApp left last year.

The decision comes as Facebook faces repeated investigations and criticisms over the way it has handled and safeguarded user data.

Comprehensively linking user data at a fundamental level may prompt regulators to take another look at its data handling practices.

The UK's Information Commissioner has already conducted investigations into how much data is shared between WhatsApp and Facebook.

The DARPA Experimental Spaceplane plant (formerly given as XS-1) is an experimental hypersonic (faster-than-firm) spacecraft that could be pierced as many as 10 days direct, as it would direct less avail than an occurrent dummy. BA, -0.98%  is currently scheming the Vahan and operation secretly with DARPA.

Latest Military Technology in The World

1: Self-Steering Bullet

Now, the fight will drop even more riskful when going up against the U.S. In a terrifying development, the US has contrived to constitute selfishness-steering missile.
Self-Steering Bullet

Agency officials from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) have announced that they have improved the technology to mend even the overthrow grapeshot within the militia.

They were skillful to show this when they reveal that even a newbie firearm could suit a running goal in a train of extent trial. DARPA EXACTO Test—very-pilot .50-cal plump:

Plus, while the cost of these advanced rounds is still unknown, they are sure to be cheaper than the rocket-propelled missiles whose role they could sometimes fill. DARPA, which is working on the EXACTO project with military contractor Teledyne Technologies and ammunition maker Orbital ATK, is keeping mum on exactly how the bullet changes its flight path. A competing effort from the Department of Energy’s Sandia Labs uses a laser to indicate the target while small fins on the bullet (also .50-caliber) steer it in flight.

2: Autonomous Unmanned Surface Vehicle

Sea Hunter is an autonomous unmanned surface vehicle (USV) launched in 2016 as part of the DARPA Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel (ACTUV) program. She was christened 7 April 2016 in Portland, Oregon. She was built by Vigor Industrial. The vessel continues the line of experimental "Sea" ships, including the Sea Shadow, Sea Fighter, and Sea Slice. Sea Hunter is classified as a Class III USV and designated the Medium Displacement Unmanned Surface Vehicle (MSV).

3.Laser Cannon

Laser Cannon

The iconic science-fiction weapon is closer than ever to reality. The Navy’s testing of its Laser Weapon System aboard the USS Ponce in the Persian Gulf went swimmingly, and the Navy expects to deploy even larger laser weapons aboard ships to protect them from threats such as small attack boats and drones.

Meanwhile, on land, Boeing and the Army are working on a truck-mounted laser that can zap incoming threats such as mortar shells or drones. This program has the catchy name HEL MD, for High-Energy Laser Mobile Demonstrator. Competitor Lockheed Martin is also looking for a piece of the Defense Department’s ray gun business with its ATHENA system.

The other is going to sea aboard an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer as early as 2020, potentially making it the world's first large, war-ready "directed-energy" weapon.

Lockheed's laser reportedly draws as much as 150 kilowatts of power per shot—enough to fry boats and unmanned aerial vehicles. Upgrading the laser to 300 kilowatts, thus boosting its range and power, could allow it to also destroy fast-moving, incoming missiles before they can strike their targets.

A laser fires more quickly and more cheaply, per shot, than today's missile launchers and conventional guns. The Navy is counting on inexpensive, quick-firing lasers to help it match a rapidly-modernizing Chinese fleet.

The Navy announced its purchase of the directed-energy cannons on January 26, a little less than a year after first taking bids for a "proven laser weapon" that could be installed on destroyers in the "shortest timeframe possible." Four companies bid on the contract.

The contract award came just a few days before photos circulated online apparently depicting a prototype electromagnetic railgun on the deck of a Chinese warship at a port on the Yangtze River. A railgun uses magnetism rather than gunpowder to propel a shell, giving the munition greater range and power.

4.Every Ship an Aircraft Carrier

Smaller Navy roller such as destroyers and frigates extensive for the oversight in the cloud that messenger assemblage has with their fleets of the traverse and rotary-wing aircraft—and idler. While there are plenty of diminutive weak aerial vehicles already in service, the cling for second-hand them on the water has been entered and retrieving them in rough seas and on small coldcock.

DARPA’s TERN notice (it stand for “Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node” but handily evocate a seafowl) endeavor to fill that niche with an aircraft that can take off and deposit on its abridgment. Twin opposite-rotating propellers elevator it into the gas.

Then it whips to horizontal pair to navigate the heave for threats, shift video, radar and other images back to the hulk. To land, it reverses the prosecute.

5. Plasma Protection Field

Boeing has filed a patent for a system that would protect vehicles from blast damage by creating plasma fields. The idea is to create an ionized airfield that would deflect the incoming blast.

What it can’t do is stop an incoming projectile such as a rocket-propelled grenade or antitank missile, but existing active-protection systems, such as the Army’s Iron Curtain, are designed to handle those. Curb your vision of a dome appearing around the vehicle as in Star Wars—the Boeing system would only defend in the direction of the

6. Invisibility From a Squid

One of the world's oldest organism groups, cephalopods, like squid, octopus, and cuttlefish, have survived in Earth's oceans for millions of years.

Now, scientists say, these ancient invertebrates may hold the key to developing combat techniques that will allow soldiers to avoid infrared detection.

Researchers at the University of California, Irvine say they have discovered a way to use proteins in the cells of pencil squid to develop "invisibility stickers" that can be worn by ground troops.
"Soldiers wear uniforms with the familiar green and brown camouflage patterns to blend into foliage during the day, but under low light and at night, they're still vulnerable to infrared detection," said Alon Gorodetsky, assistant professor of chemical engineering and material sciences.
"You can draw inspiration from natural systems that have been perfected over millions of years, giving us ideas we might never have been able to come up with otherwise," he said.

7. Extra-Stealthy Bomber

The B-2 bomber, commonly known as the stealth bomber, was an ambitious project, to say the least. In the 1970s, the U.S. military wanted a replacement for the aging B-52 bomber. They needed a plane that could carry nuclear bombs across the globe, to the Soviet Union, in only a few hours. And they wanted it to be nearly invisible to enemy sensors.

As you might expect, hiding a giant plane is no easy task. Northrop Grumman, the defense firm that won the bomber contract, spent billions of dollars and nearly 10 years developing the top-secret project. The finished product is a revolutionary machine -- a 172-foot wide flying wing that looks like an insect to radar scanners! The craft is also revolutionary from an aeronautics perspective: It doesn't have any of the standard stabilizing systems you find on a conventional airplane, but pilots say it flies as smoothly as a fighter jet.

8. AGM-114 Hellfire

The AGM-114 Hellfire is an air-to-surface missile (ASM) first developed for anti-armor use, but later models were developed for precision strikes against other target types, and have been used in a number of targeted killings of high-profile individuals

. It was originally developed under the name Heliborne, Laser, Fire and Forget Missile, which led to the colloquial name "Hellfire" ultimately becoming the missile's formal name

9. Satellite Melter

What’s one way to remove an enemy satellite? Melt it. A DARPA-funded program with Northrop Grumman and Raytheon is developing a satellite that will be designed to hunt and track an adversary’s defense satellite.

If done right, it will work by simple physics, reflecting a sunbeam on the enemy satellite that will, over the course of weeks, heat the opposing satellite just enough to make it fall out of orbit and burn up on reentry into the upper stratosphere. It won’t look like a brilliant strike in the sky. In fact, it won’t even be seen. That’s the idea. It’s a five-year project with a demo in 2018 and a launch expected in 2021.

When is PUBG Mobile Zombies mode out?
Thanks to PUBG Mobile YouTubers Mr. Ghost Gaming and Allthenewsisgoodnews, it appears that the PUBG Mobile zombies update could be out sooner than expected. A host of videos based on the PUBG Mobile 0.10.5 beta show off zombies added to the game. One of them, possibly based on data mined assets even has what appears to be a special map for the PUBG Mobile Zombies mode. However, there's no mention of this in the 0.10.5 update that's out now. Mr. Ghost Gaming speculates that the zombies may be held back for 0.11.0 or beyond. While that seemed unlikely a week ago, it may just be the case now.

Is Samsung more successful than Apple?

Add Comment
It was something known, and more since Apple announced the first 'profit warning' since 2002, but few anticipated that it would be such a hard blow. Samsung, the other giant of mobile phone manufacturing, has just announced that revenues and profits during the first fiscal quarter of 2019 will be much lower than they had a year ago.

How much are we talking about? Well, a decrease of 11% and 29%, respectively. The Korean company itself has just announced through a statement in which it explains that for this period expected sales of about 52,500 million dollars, 11% less than what was achieved 12 months ago, while profits will fall by 29% to stay at about 9,600 million dollars.
Is Samsung more successful than Apple?
(Photo: EFE)
Since Samsung have not given many details of the reasons for this coup, but they point to a factor very similar to that pointed Apple after announcing its decline. Which one? The " intensification of competition in the smartphone business ", that is the growth of its rivals in an increasingly tough market. To this, we must add something exclusive to the Asian giant and that can not be compared with the case of the apple: "the lack of brightness in the memory business", or in other words, the decrease in the sale of products related to storage such as hard drives.

In addition, Koreans are not too optimistic in those related to the short-term future, since for this quarter (the second of 2019) they expect earnings to remain "moderate" due to problems in the storage business. Of course, his idea is to recover the pace for the second half of the year, pulling innovation and accessories.

According to the statement, Samsung expects to improve its results by targeting 5G and folding devices as major assets in relation to the mobile business, while ensuring that their OLED screens for smartphones will continue to be widespread in all terminals, whether they are the same or the same. brand, as of its own competence.

Being a much less polluting means of transport than motorcycles or other vehicles with serious problems to access our cities, an increasing number of users have opted to buy one of these electric skates. Surely this has been one of the star gifts this Christmas and, for this reason, it is appropriate to have an official technical service to repair the vehicle if needed.

Whether it's a puncture, a change of wheels, brake adjustments or other common faults suffered by these products, you're probably in the position of not knowing where to take him to have a look.

Is there an Official Technical Service for the skates of Xiaomi, like the  Mi electric Scooter,  in Spain?

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX Processor 6GHz overclocked (32 cores) Review

AMD has unleashed its Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX onto the world, and in the hands of one intrepid overclocker, this mighty processor has been pushed to a new record with a boost to a hair’s breadth away from 6GHz across all of its 32 cores.

Since they were announced earlier this year, everyone’s attention has been fixed firmly on the 32-core/64-thread 2nd Gen Threadripper part, now known as the 2990WX, coming in at $1800. There will be two models in the WX series and for those wondering the ‘W’ signifies that this is a workstation series and the ‘X’ the usual extreme nonsense we suppose. Along with the 2990WX, there will also be a 24-core/48-thread model known as the 2970WX, though that model won’t be available until October
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX

As was the case with the 2nd Gen Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 models, these new Threadripper parts feature reduced cache and DRAM latency with support for slightly faster memory. So they are based on the Zen+ architecture which uses the 12PL process from GlobalFoundries.

What is Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX?

If you’re wondering just how AMD went from an 8-core Ryzen 7 1800X to a 16-core Ryzen Threadripper 1950X to a 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX in the space of 16 months, while it took Intel three years just to go from a 6-core Core i7 to a 10-core Core i7, the magic is in the design.

The original 16-core Ryzen Threadripper 1950X joined two 8-core chips together. With the 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX AMD joins four 8-core chips together.| On Threadripper, that essentially means that of the four dies in the 2990WX, two are pure compute-only dies, without direct access to memory and to PCIe. Those two compute dies must talk through an I/O die that has PCIe and access to the memory. This design means an I/O die with memory access has 64ns of latency to memory, while a compute-only die has a latency of 105ns.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX Overclocked To 6 GHz Across All 32 Cores With LN2 Cooling

Indonesian overclocker, Ivan Cupa, achieved a clock frequency of 5955.4 MHz across all 32 cores and 64 threads that the 2990WX has to offer. The feat was achieved on an MSI MEG X399 Creation motherboard along with a Corsair 1500W power supply and tons of liquid nitrogen to keep temps under control. A CPU voltage of 1.45V was reported within the Ryzen Master utility but we aren’t sure if that is correct since CPU-Z and Ryzen Master utility are reporting different numbers.

The biggest of these limitations being that there are still just four memory controllers. Although there are two more Zeppelin dies, the additional two dies are computed dies, in AMD’s words. This means they have no local PCIe or DRAM access, for that they must travel via the Infinity Fabric to the IO dies. As there are twice as many dies, the Infinity Fabric bandwidth is also halved, so now the throughput between dies is just 25GBps, assuming you’re using DDR4-3200 memory.
With the 2nd gen Threadripper, there was much hand-wringing that the CPUs might not work with the existing X399 motherboards. AMD has said every single X399 board available today will work once you’ve updated the UEFI/BIOS to support the newer chip. All of the X399 motherboards support “BIOS Back” features, which let you update a board’s BIOS via USB without requiring an older CPU.

AMD 2nd Generation Ryzen Threadripper Performance Benchmarks Detailed – 2990WX Crushes The i9-7980XE, 2950X Blazes Past The i9-7900X For Less Than Intel’s Offerings

In the new slides, we get some more information regarding the 2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper processors. First of all, we get a clear aim of this high-performance, high core-count processor. While AMD’s ‘X’ series Threadripper chips are said to be aimed at enthusiast and high-end gaming systems, they are still very capable of workstation and developer-grade content creation system environments. All 16, 24, 32 core models are designed for complex workflows which include a range of different tasks such as Media Editing, Visual Effects, Modeling, Rigging, Animation, Data Science, Code Compiling and Machine Learning/Rendering

Encoding Performance

When encoding with Adobe Premiere we find a similar situation, the 2990WX took 35% longer to complete the workload when compared to the 2950X. The good here though is that the 2950X was 7% quicker than the 1950X and that made it just 7% slower than the Core i9-7960X. So a pretty great result for the 2950X and a disastrous result for the 2990WX.

Thermals and boost performance

The top-end 32-core Threadripper 2990WX has a rated Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 250 watts, which is the maximum heat it will dissipate before hitting a wall. The 2990WX also has a total socket power of 250 watts, which it’ll hit a few milliseconds after doing any heavy multi-threaded loads. What this means is that you need to keep the CPU well fed with power and generally pretty cool.

The next Windows 10 update will be faster

Since Microsoft released the bug Specter patch in January 2018 then, the PC will be slower. Many PCs also slowed in 2015 and the previous years.

Now, the next Windows 10 update will be able to overcome the slowdown and make the PC faster. This will later become part of Windows 10 version 19H1, which may be released around April 2019.

According to information, Microsoft has enabled the red-stone and optimization of imports in the new version of Windows 10. This feature will reduce the impact of pref impact because the call is not directly into kernel mode. This will reduce most of the slowdown from the impact of Specter v2 to the noise level. update.

Redstone has been used on Linux systems since January 2018 developed by Google, and this can more quickly block Specter-based devices (which could have an impact on performance).

Alex Ionescu's security researchers found that the transfer of small files in large quantities could be improved. Because when moving many small files the slowdown occurs up to 23%, but Patch Microsoft can solve this problem.

This can also be a reason to use Windows 10. This fix may only be available in Windows

New File Explorer Improvements

Updated File Explorer Icon: We’re updating the File Explorer icon, so it looks better with the new light theme. Thanks, everyone who shared feedback about this! Here’s what it looks like now:
Updating the default downloads folder sorting: More often than not, when you download a file, you don’t change the identity before downloading it. Because of that, the names aren’t continually very memorable (cake_134_small_red.jpg anyone?). This makes sorting by using name much less most reliable for the reason that it’s challenging to locate the file you’re looking for, so we’re updating the default sorting to exhibit the most currently downloaded file at the top of the listing instead.

Note: If you’ve already altered the current sorting from the default in any way, we will now not trade it – this is only for human beings who haven’t changed it. If at any factor you desire to switch sortings, you can do so from the View tab in File Explorer. Some Insiders have had this exchange for a little bit now, and based totally on tremendous remarks we’re now rolling it out to a hundred percent of Fast.

New Start menu improvements

Quick unpin for organizations and folders: Sometimes you just wanna shortly start clean – over the remaining few weeks we’ve been rolling out the ability to unpin organizations and folders in Start with the aid of a new context menu entry. As of today, that choice is now handy to all Insiders in the Fast ring! Thanks, as always, to everybody who’s shared their remarks so far!

Type quicker with extra accuracy: When you’re typing quickly, from time to time your fingers omit the true key you’re trying to hit by means of a small margin. This is definitely normal but can have an effect on the textual content prediction accuracy (if you ending up pressing a specific letter than expected). To address this, as you type, underneath the covers we will now dynamically alter the hit target of every key, based on a prediction of what letter most likely will be typed next. The keys will look no unique to the eye, however here’s an example of the what’s going on underneath if you’re curious:
