two Indian army aircraft violated the Line of Control (LoC) as they “intruded” from the Muzaffarabad ( Balakot ) zone and had been pressured to return owing to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor stated early Tuesday.
“Indian aircraft intrusion across LoC in Muzaffarabad Sector within AJK was 3-4 miles. Under forced hasty withdrawal aircraft released payload which had free fall in the open area. No infrastructure got hit, no casualties. Technical details and other important information to follow,” director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wrote on Twitter.

Maj Gen Ghafoor tweeted images of the “payload of hastily escaping Indian aircraft” which “fell in [the] open”.
The incursion into the Pakistan air space follows a sequence of threats by Indian political and military leadership following the assault on an Indian Army convoy at Pulwama by using a nearby youth, in reaction to the oppression unleashed by means of the occupational forces.
PM Imran summons meeting
Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned an assembly at 11 am, Foreign Minister Shah Qureshi stated whilst addressing the media after chairing an emergency consultative assembly at the Foreign Office.
Qureshi said Pakistan holds the right to self-defense and a befitting response to Indian aggression. “We stored on telling the world that this ought to happen… they [India] carried out aggression towards Pakistan today. India violated the LoC [today]. Pakistan holds the proper to self-defense and a befitting response,” he added.
PML-N summons emergency meeting
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has summoned an emergency parliamentary meeting at the Parliament House.

On Monday, DG ISPR had said, “Pakistan Armed Forces are completely organized for a befitting response to any Indian aggression or misadventure”.
Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had visited the Air Headquarters a day until now and “deliberated on operational environment consisting of threat and response” with the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), in accordance to Maj Gen Ghafoor.
“Both chiefs expressed pride on readiness, coordination, and synergy. Pakistan Armed Forces are completely prepared for a befitting response to any Indian aggression or misadventure,” he had said.
General Bajwa, who also visited Headquarters Rawalpindi Corps, was updated by way of the Commander there “on operational scenario & a nation of readiness alongside Line of Actual Contact (LAC), Line of Control and Working Boundary (WB).”
“COAS expressed pleasure on the kingdom of preparations & readiness,” Major General Ghafoor had tweeted.

Prior to that, on Sunday, Gen Bajwa had visited troops along the working boundary close to Sialkot and had said there used to be nothing extra sacred than defending the motherland.
“I take pleasure in leading an Army which is ever prepared to perform this duty,” the Army chief had stated.
On the same day, Air chief Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan had stated the PAF was continually prepared to combat any act of aggression as per the nation’s expectations.
